Job Description
Adsum Technologies is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our technical support team in Quebec City. You will be responsible for providing level 1-2 support to our clientele of Quebec SMBs, both remotely and on-site.
You will work in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges. You will contribute directly to our clients' satisfaction by ensuring the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Respond to technical support requests by phone, email, and ticketing system
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to workstations, peripherals, networks, and applications
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations and Microsoft 365 environments
- Perform on-site interventions at client locations in the Quebec City area
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD
- Document interventions and procedures in our knowledge base
- Participate in proactive monitoring of client infrastructure via our RMM tools
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians as needed
Requirements
- DVS in computer support, DCS in computer science, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- French spoken and written (required); functional English (required)
- Valid driver's license
